Mount Korbu and Gayong also well known as KORGA. Mount Korbu (G2) and Mount Gayong (G4) are two of the 7 highest mountain in Peninsula Malaysia. Both mountain located side by side in Ulu Kinta, Ipoh. It is a favourite site for mountain climbing and a must go journey for those mountain trekking lover.

1. Trekking Equipment  -  2 Hiking clothes, 2 Hiking pants, Hiking shoe, Cap, Glove, Warm jacket, Rain jacket, Backpack 55L++ and 10-25L summit bag

2. Camping Equipment  -  Tent and Sleeping bag, Sleeping pad and inflatable Pillow

3. Accessories  -  Trekking poles, Headlamp, Cup, Eating utensils, Slipper (optional), Power bank, wiser (if any), Toiletries,  leech spray

We strongly encourage team members sharing tent to reduce backpack weight and setting up tent would be more quickly and energy saving.

We practice foods ratio. All cooking materials and cookware will be distribute equally among participants and staffs. Every member estimate to get ration 1 - 2kg. After consumption of the day, foods ration redistribute equally and fairly for next day (applicable for multi day trekking trip). 

 

FITNESS REQUIREMENT

This activity requires high level of physical fitness. Participant must have the fitness and stamina to ascent 1200m and above, or at least complete hiking distance of 18km in day hike. We do not accept registration from people suffering from infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, severe respiratory diseases, mental illness, severe anemia, patients recovering from surgery, pregnant women, and people with severe high blood pressure. This event is only open to those aged 16-70.

 

This event is planned and executed by Nova Adventure. Before registering for the event, please be sure to read, understand, evaluate, and agree to all terms and conditions.

 

 Payment terms

1. A non-refundable deposit of RM1000 is payable to secure booking. Balance fee  to be collected upon booking deadline or when the event is fully booked.

 

** Deposit is refundable subjected to below conditions:

a. Event cancellation by Nova Adventure due to insufficient number of participants

b. Event cancellation by Nova Adventure due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. (Exampledue to pandemic/ natural disaster/ war/ etc)

c. Event cancellation by Nova Adventure due to fail to secure permit or accommodation at event destination.(Example: Mount Kinabalu Panalaban Hostel/ hiking permit/ etc)

Those not reach Gunung Korbu by this time, no matter where you are kindly turn back and wait at kem Kijang river point !!!

1200 - Gunung Gayong, lunch (******watch out for Simpang proton !! Just 3-5 minutes away from GAYONG PEAK, its on your left hand from the direction Korbu to Gayong. Once you turn to simpang proton, it lead you to V2 trail)
1230 - leave Gayong detour to Kem Seroja
1430 - Mount Korbu
1630 - Bukit Botak
1730 - Last water point
1845 - Kem Kijang
2030 - Kem Seroja, Dinner, Washing and Rest
