Located 4 hours drive from Surabaya, Mount Bromo is an active volcano and part of the Bromo Tengger Semeru National Park. At 2329m it is not the highest peak of the massif, but the most famous. The area is one of the most visited tourist destinations in East Java. The name Bromo comes from the Javanese pronunciation of Brahma, the Hindu god of creation.

Apart from the very famous Mount Bromo, a place that must be visited is the Madakaripura Waterfall. The Waterfall is amazing! Madakaripura is the highest waterfall on the island of Java and the second highest in Indonesia, with the height of about 1000 meters above sea level. Because of its highness, the atmosphere around there are fresh and cold. 

Ijen volcano has a one-kilometre-wide turquoise-coloured acidic crater lake. The lake is the site of a labour-intensive sulfur mining operation, in which sulfur-laden baskets are carried by hand from the crater floor. Once out of the crater, still need to carry their loads of sulfur chunks about three kilometers to the nearby Paltuding Valley to get paid.

FITNESS REQUIREMENT

This activity requires average level of physical fitness. Participant must have exercise regularly. We do not accept registration from people suffering from infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, severe respiratory diseases, mental illness, severe anemia, patients recovering from surgery, pregnant women, and people with severe high blood pressure. This event is only open to those aged 16-70.

This event is planned and executed by Nova Adventure. Before registering for the event, please be sure to read, understand, evaluate, and agree to all terms and conditions.

 Payment terms

1. A non-refundable deposit of RM700 is payable to secure booking. Balance fee to be collected upon booking deadline or when the event is fully booked.

** Deposit is refundable subjected to below conditions:

a. Event cancellation by Nova Adventure due to insufficient number of participants

b. Event cancellation by Nova Adventure due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. (Example: due to pandemic/ natural disaster/ war/ etc)

c. Event cancellation by Nova Adventure due to fail to secure permit or accommodation at event destination.(Example: Mount Kinabalu Panalaban Hostel/ hiking permit/ etc)
